As a student in our Japanese Studies program, you’ll take classes in language, culture, history, literature, film, religion and art history. You’ll explore your interests through independent and collaborative research. And you’ll have access to extensive , our sister university in Japan.
You’ll also partake in language and cultural exchange experiences with 100 Japanese students at Tokyo International University of America, which is co-located on Willamette’s campus. Student clubs host festivals, language tables and other Japanese cultural events.
