Build bridges between disciplines and focus on the things you care about most. It's all part of our individualized major program.
This is a great option if the academic area you wish to pursue is too unusual to support a regularly offered major. You'll begin working with faculty mentors in your sophomore year to design a coherent program of study that combines courses from at least two disciplines.
Examples in recent years have included neuroscience, Russian studies, Middle Eastern and Islamic studies, and comparative literature. Whatever path you choose, you'll have access to research and internship opportunities that set the stage for a meaningful career and life.
