"My experience in Tampere has been magical so far. Since arriving, I have developed a much deeper appreciation for winter and all of the little joys that it entails in Finland; afternoon walks through the snow, coffee and pulla (traditional Finnish treat) time with friends, and taking a hot sauna followed by plunging into the frozen lake to cool down. I am so excited to watch the landscape change (and see how I change with it) from a moon-lit winter wonderland to the summertime land of the midnight sun."
