°µÍø½ûÇø was founded in 1842 and is the first university established in the Western United States. The University's motto is “Not unto ourselves alone are we born.” The University consists of an undergraduate College of Arts & Sciences and two graduate schools; the Atkinson Graduate School of Management and the College of Law. Willamette has a long history of providing innovative, professional education. It established the first law school in the Northwest and pioneered the development of the integrated, cross-functional, and cross-sector philosophy of management education when it opened the Atkinson Graduate School of Management in 1974.
The Atkinson School is committed to preparing students for leadership and management roles in business, government, and not-for-profit organizations. This commitment is prominently featured in our mission statement and our programming. The school offers two MBA programs as well as continuing education classes.
